Two Busy Weeks for KYC in Hong Kong

2nd November, 2018

The last two weeks of October have been extremely busy for the Know Your Customer team in Hong Kong.

After being selected as one the 25 Hottest FinTech Companies 2018 by APAC CIO Outlook, on Thursday, October 25th, our adventure as cohort members of FinTech Innovation Lab Asia-Pacific came to a conclusion, with our CEO Claus Christensen pitching Know Your Customer on stage during the final Investor Day!

Starting on Monday, October 29th, Hong Kong FinTech Week kept us extremely busy. We kicked things off on Monday presenting at the Irish FinTech Showcase and Official Launch Party organised by Enterprise Ireland. We then joined their FinTech pavilion, where we had the opportunity to show our solution in action to hundreds of people from all over the world.

On Thursday, our CEO’s panel discussion on “Next Gen AML” gathered a big crowd at the conference, demonstrating once again the interest in the topic of innovation in anti-money laundering compliance in the Asian region.

Last but definitely not least, we had the pleasure to meet Minister Heather Humphreys, Irish Minister for Business, Enterprise & Innovation, and Enterprise Ireland CEO Julie Sinnamon. During their visit, we officially announced our partnership with Hong Kong FinTech company Neat. Neat will use our digital solution to accelerate the AML and KYC process required for their corporate client onboarding.
