    Know Your Customer is a rapidly growing AML and KYC solution with team members and clients spanning the globe. We are looking for a friendly and talented new Customer Success Specialist to join our tightly knit success team.

    What you’ll be doing:

    – Foster and grow great relationships with our clients.
    – Manage and provide solution trials, and tailor outreach to existing, new and potential customers to ensure our clients are getting the maximum benefit from our services.
    – Support our clients using e-mail, live chat, and occasionally phone. Keep on top of their issues and keep them informed every step of the way.
    – Become a product expert. Help with the set-up and implementation of each client’s unique environment. Train clients on how to use the product. Create training materials tailored to their own experience. Be your client’s go-to person!
    – Collaborate with our development, operations, marketing and sales teams to troubleshoot problems, improve processes, recommend new and exciting features, and be the voice of our customer by responding to their feedback with unique and creative solutions.
    – Monitor and analyse trends within your accounts and constantly execute on about new ways to “WOW” your clients and colleagues; be creative, bold, and outspoken!
    – Conduct online and in-person presentations on products and services of Know Your Customer.
    – Identify potential sales opportunities and research the wants and needs of clients in your market.
    – Based on client needs, travel to client locations might be necessary.
    – Train new hires, and assist with internal communications.
    – Share market-trends with the global marketing team and identify opportunities to reach existing or new audiences.
    – Spot marketing opportunities within the territory and flag with the marketing team.
    – Understand customer markets and spot trends, and share accordingly.
    – Provide translations to the marketing department where needed.

    What you bring to the table:

    – 2+ years experience in Client Support/Success/Relationship
    – Fluency in English and Mandarin. Fluency in another Asian language an advantage.
    – The ability to write and speak eloquently via email, telephone, in person, chat, and be truly enthusiastic about helping your clients reach their goals.
    – An interest in technology or compliance. The ability to learn, and adapt, quickly is necessary.
    – Be market passionate and social media savvy.
    – An ability to relate to clients, truly understand their needs, and create engaging training programs and materials for new product and features.
    – Related experience is a plus (can include: AML/KYC, Banking, Sales, Technology, SaaS solutions, Compliance)
    – Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud a plus.
    – The ability to work with little supervision, and be a true self-starter, often under pressure.

    Know Your Customer is seeking a business development manager (hunter) who is a highly motivated and able to play a key role in the driving of revenue in Hong Kong and related markets through the promotion of the business and marketing of products to new and existing clients. Once established, the BDM will work as part of a global sales team.

    Responsibilities:

    – Work as part of a global sales team to implement and develop the marketing strategy and drive revenue and growth;
    – Provide monthly management reports and sales targets for the Hong Kong market;
    – Drive revenue in line with pre-agreed annual targets, through the identification and establishment of relationships with potential new customers, for the sale of our automated KYC solution;
    – Contribute to the annual business plan of the business in terms of growth and revenue for the Hong Kong market;
    – Identify parties with whom the business can form strategic partnerships for marketing purposes;
    – Develop an understanding of the client profile of our customers and which of our products is best suited to their needs;
    – Have or gain a detailed knowledge of Anti Money Laundering (“AML”) legislation for Hong Kong as well as provide updates on proposed changes to AML legislation;
    – Monitor for changes to, and the introduction of new data sources specific to the Hong Kong market;
    – Have or gain a basic understanding of AML requirements for the other jurisdictions covered by the business with a view to cross selling to Hong Kong clients with a global presence;
    – Develop an understanding of Data Protection Legislation in Hong Kong and monitor for any proposed changes to that legislation;
    – Ensure any registrations and/or regulatory requirements specific to the sale of the products in the Hong Kong market are monitored and reported to the Director of Corporate Services;
    – Work with the legal team on new customer contracts and ensure expectations of customer contracts are established, communicated and met;
    – Gain an understanding of the technical and security features of the products offered;
    – Work with the IT technical team to resolve any issues or address customer specific requirements;
    – Develop a knowledge of competitor firms within the Asian region and monitor their offerings;
    – Co-ordinate and oversee the holding of marketing events within Hong Kong (and pan-Asia) which may include attendance at promotional events as a representative of the company;
    – Monitor and make proposals to the board of directors on pricing strategies specific to the Hong Kong market in the context of market and economic developments.

    Requirements:

    – At least 5 years’ prior experience working in a compliance, sales, or marketing role within financial services.
    – Prior experience with a tech start-up or compliance company.
    – Consideration will also be given to those from a fiduciary services, investment or professional services background looking for a career change.
    – Excellent academic background ideally with a professional qualification.
    – A quick learner able to self-manage, use their initiative and demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills.

    Location:

    You will be based in our Hong Kong offices but have the option to work from a home office if preferable.  You may be required to travel to Mainland China or other Asian countries as demand requires.
